Its not because of their talent
Its because of their relentless nature
When I read the book relentless by tim grover
He mentioned how winning was ugly dirty messy and it would require everything
He talked about winning as if it was a Women or some type of diety
Called winning a jealous lover
At first I didnt understand what he meant
Winning is ugly?
How?
Until I made contact with winning
And she wasnât impressed with my little pickup lines
Winning wanted COMMITMENT
LIFELONG commitment
And once I made the commitment
She had permission to hand my ass to me
What many may not know , I was coasting off talent
I was getting things handed to me because
I was âtalentedâ
Don't it twisted , I had work ethic
But I had work ethic that set me apart from the common
Winning does not give a fuck about the common
You need to set yourself apart from the uncommon
This is where im at right now
Challenging myself
Day in and day out to seperate myself
I figured out one challenge
And started feeling myself a bit when I succeeded
And winning knocked my ass right off mount everest very quickly
I then had to sit back with myself and come up with a new challenge to feel worthy again to this bad bitch called winning
Maybe now its time to wake up at 4 am and run
Maybe its time to push myself to the extreme
My dark side is no longer hidden but now CHALLENGED
